Paintball
We know how to let you have an experience you will remember for years to come!!

Our Hermanus Paintball field has hosted thousands of players from Bachelors parties to huge corporate bookings. If you’re looking for a paintball game ticking all the boxes then look no further.

We only play with compressed air as to ensure that our equipment has an extra shelf life. If you have your own equipment then you will need to ensure that your market is compatible with compressed air.  Bookings for our paintball field is essential as we are extremely popular and we sometime host up to 6 games a day.

Quad Bikes
Mountain and Vineyards Drive +- 1h30

No previous experience required. Our Quad Bike Trail in Hermanus is a must as it is rated as one of the top trails in South Africa and has often featured in movies, commercials and on a number of travel agent itineraries.

This route takes you through the world-renowned vineyards of Hamilton Russell and Southern Right wineries. Travel up the mountain and through the fynbos kingdom into the Fernkloof Nature Reserve. Your half way point is one of the most pristine look-out points in the Western Cape. From here you will have a spectacular birds-eye-view of Hermanus and Walkerbay. Cameras on this trip are an absolute must! – Whale spotting from this vantage point allows you to see the bigger picture of activity throughout the entire bay.

Wine Tasting Quad Trail:
We also facilitate a wine tasting tour on our quad trails – the duration of such an excursion would be  +- 2H30

Hermanus Stargazing Trip +- 4 hours

Departure 19H00 – Bookings essential
Hermanus Forest Adventures hosts interactive astronomy presentations for stargazing enthusiasts. Our night sky talks are conducted on quad bikes high on the mountains surrounding Hermanus.

One of the awe-inspiring sights that will await you if you come to Hermanus from the city, is the brilliant display of a starry African night sky. With minimal light-pollution around you, the heavens take on a whole new splendour, especially on a clear, moonless night. Take a closer look at the famous Southern Cross, Orion, Jupiter’s moons, various stars, moon craters, even satellites and shooting stars. Your knowledgeable guide will make the night sky come alive to you with a spellbinding, interactive presentation. Minimum of 4 guests required.

River Tubing
1 Hour from Cape Town  – A stone throw away from the town of Kleinmond.

The scenery is breath-taking as the mountains tower over you while your gently floating down the Palmiet river. This World Heritage Site is a lush green nature reserve sand stretches as far as the eye can see. The smell of fynbos cloaks around the river, as insects buzz and sound of wildlife echo off the gorges. Tubing is provided during the summer months. Professional guides lead you on this adventurous ride of a life time, but bookings are essential. Relax and for a few hours forget about the hustle and bustle of the city.

Water levels always differ so please phone before the time to check the water levels.

We use a specialized tubed called Gecko build for this adventure – Lightweight and extremely portable, the GECKO was built to be easily carried into remote gorges which demand it to be lightweight and super tough. Easily portaged inflated or deflated and capable of running the tightest of creeks

Sandboarding
Sandboarding is a boarding Sport similar to the popular Snowboarding.

It is an awesome recreational activity that takes place on our large +-230 meter High Sand Dune rather than on a snow covered mountain. This boarding sport has adherents throughout the world, most prevalently in desert areas or coastal areas with beach dunes.

We are very fortunate to have one of Africa’s Highest Commercial Sand Boarding Dunes a stone throw away from Cape Town in Betty’s Bay.
Our guides/s will provide you with training and safety on the dune. Sandboarding is a wonderful activity as its both fun and extreme (depending on your skills as you progress). Once our training session has finished we will start off with a smaller section of the dune. We will progress Higher and Higher up on the dune as your skills improve.

The norm is to stand on the Sandboard as you descend down the dune but if you prefer to rather sit we will show you the ropes as this is also a lot of fun if your balance seems to get the better of you. Sandboarding is ideal for individuals but also extremely entertaining for larger groups and teambuilding options.

Each sand boarding session is +- 2 Hours long

Tree Slides
High above the ground (8 to 50 Meters) the 2 guides will allow you to glide from platform to platform with only the local eagles and bird life noise echoing in the forest. Our platforms are high up in the tree canopy with amazing views of the forest.

The 9 to 12 platform slides range from 20 meters to 200 meters and with a safe breaking  system you control the speed you travel at. So it could be a fast adrenaline experience or it could just be a slow easy glide high above the ground. Come and experience something different but forever memorable. The whole zipline tour in Hermanus experience takes under 2 hours  and we are only a few kilometres from Hermanus and based on the Hemel & Aarde road.
